Starting Over

It's scary starting a new career. It's even scarier starting a new career that is your own company. My life as I know it, is starting all over again. I recently left my fantastic job as a Technical Recruiter for internet startup companies and have decided to embark on a long personal endeavor of owning my own PR company. My educational background and career before recruiting has been as a Public Relations Specialist and Media Specialist. Recruiting was an exciting journey that I took on to learn about businesses and the technology industry. I also learned how to become my own boss by managing my own clients with business development, guiding CTO's and CEO's of software companies on how to hire the right candidates, and how to persuade and influence people to leave their comfortable jobs for a new and improved career.

Though the experience was brief (2 years) I gained a wealth of knowledge. I grew into a negotiator, a client development manager, a researcher and a working machine. These skills have helped me to grow into the passionate and hungry business woman that I am today. Ultimately my goal has always been to start my own company and to help companies to establish a positive and influential identity in society.

If there is one piece of free PR I could give to anybody it would be to take advantage of your FREE resources. Today's generation is the age of the super obsessed internet users. The internet provides so many FREE resources to get your name out there and to be seen and heard from millions of people. But that's as far as I go.... want to learn more contact me and I can help you out.

What I will provide:

So starting over may be scary but it also can be exciting. Don't be afraid to take challenges and to step outside the box. No matter what your next career move will be make it one that counts and make it something that you are proud of. I may not be the biggest or most known PR company in Hawaii but I am hungry for business and can offer you more than the Hawaii PR companies can combined.
